Your ski holiday in Austria:
the Haus Braunarl
Lech and skiing go together like snow and mountain sunshine. Here, where Alpine skiing began over a century ago, the feeling endures: freedom on two skis, and mountain views that dwarf everyday life. Choose the Haus Braunarl for your ski holiday in Austria, and you’ll feel it straight away – right in the heart of the Ski Arlberg ski area yet completely at ease in your own retreat.
Comfort and service – because it should be easy
The Ski Arlberg ski pass gives you access to all lifts across the entire ski area – contactless, convenient, and digitally trackable via the Ski Arlberg app.
In the village, you’ll find shops with everything you need for the perfect ski day:
- Sporthaus Strolz
- Sportalp Waldhart
- Intersport Rent
- Skibex
The Auenfeldjet connects Lech-Zürs with Warth-Schröcken; the Flexenbahn makes Ski Arlberg Austria’s largest connected ski area. The result is that you can easily reach St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Zürs, Lech, Oberlech, Warth, and Schröcken without ever taking off your skis!
A classic that everyone should experience at least once: the legendary ski circuit via Rüfikopf – Zürs – Madloch – Zug – Kriegerhorn – Lech covers around 22 kilometres of descents. Push hard, and you’ll be back in a few hours; or better still, take your time and stop at viewpoints and sun terraces along the way.
Around 200 kilometres of off-piste routes make the nearby Ski Arlberg ski resort an incomparable destination for freeriders and deep snow enthusiasts. Experienced guides will lead you safely to the finest slopes – from Kriegerhorn to Mehlsack. A particular highlight is heli-skiing, available exclusively in Lech.
Several hundred state-certified ski instructors share their expertise with real enthusiasm – with skiers of all ages and abilities. In group or private lessons, you’ll improve your technique and safety, discover new routes, or venture off-piste for the first time.
Even the littlest feel at home at the Ski Arlberg ski resort: children as young as three can learn to ski through play in the ski schools. In the Kinderland children’s ski area or small-group Early Bird sessions (maximum 5 children), they’ll tackle their first slopes with encouragement, safety, and plenty of fun – complete with a final race and certificate. And in the ski kindergarten, little ones from age two can enjoy their very first moments on skis. A ski holiday in Austria to remember!
Tip: Fancy something different?
If the slopes aren’t calling, you can also experience winter’s quieter side here through winter hiking, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice skating, or a walk with alpacas.
