Summer holidays in Austria –
for families, friends, and more!

The last day of school is behind you, and now the long-awaited summer holidays in Austria for families finally begin: cool mountain air, green Alpine meadows, and endless space to play and explore. What’s on the agenda? Hiking, climbing, cycling, golf, fishing, a splash in the forest swimming pool – and in the evening, the scent of barbecue drifting through the air. Once the little ones are sound asleep, there’s time for a glass of wine together. The Haus Braunarl makes a wonderfully cosy base for your Austrian Alps summer holiday.

Mountain biking

On a bike, it’s all about the flow: gravel Alpine tracks, soft forest trails, steady climbs, and long descents back down to the valley. The village’s bike hire and service shops make it easy to get started.

Leisure activities

Between daytime adventures and evening downtime, your summer holidays in Austria for families leave room for plenty more. A refreshing dip in the pool, then a breather on the sunbathing lawn. A round of golf against an Alpine backdrop. Tennis, trail running, or – for quieter moments – fishing in the river or an outdoor yoga session. Summer here can be whatever you want it to be.
